Calendula is the most soothing of carrier oils. It is particularly good when used for any type of sore, inflamed and itchy skin conditions, especially nappy rash, eczema and in the later stages of burns. This oil is most widely used in skincare preparations and it's properties are strengthened by the addition of Essential Oils, especially Chamomile and Lavender.
Though it may seem as though I have not gone into much detail about this oil, it really is invaluable when treating dermatological disorders and I felt this should be highlighted.
